Get ready for your Canadian adventure

The picturesque Rocky Mountains and crystal clear lakes have crowned Canada as a nature lover’s paradise. Hikers and campers are spoiled for choice, as the country is home to some of the most stunning trails and wooded areas in North America. Adventure-seekers and snow bunnies will also feel at home at the Canadian slopes and wintery villages of Whistler and Banff.

Although, if you plan to explore the great Canadian outdoors, be careful of any wild moose you come across. They may not be aggressive animals, but if provoked, they can lift up to 700kg and chase unwanted strangers at 56mph. Don’t worry, this doesn’t apply to the human residents, as most Canadians do live up to their warm, welcoming and friendly stereotype.

When you order Canadian dollars online before 3pm, we'll delivery your travel money straight to your door by the next working day. Orders placed after 3pm on Fridays will be delivered on Tuesday. Remote locations may take up to 3 working days to arrive. Your online orders can also be collected from a Waitrose or John Lewis store at your branch’s earliest pick up date. Canadian dollars are also available to buy at one of our Bureau de Change, so you can buy them while shopping at John Lewis for your new winter coat or hiking boots.

Exchange rates may vary online and in-store. Min online order £250. Delivery/collection fee of £5.50 applies to orders below £500.

Sell your leftover Canadian Dollars

You can sell your Canadian Dollar notes if you have any leftover after your holiday (as long as we keep your currency in stock and we can accept your denominations). We buy back currency in-store, so just pop into your local John Lewis Bureau de Change branch with a valid form of ID and your Canadian dollars.

If your holiday is cancelled, you can return your Canadian dollars for a full refund within 35 days of the purchase date. Make sure you have your original order receipt or order confirmation, as well as proof of cancellation and your ID. Please note returns and buy backs can only be made in-store.
