Start your American adventure today

Your children won’t stop talking about their holiday to Orlando, or your partner keeps sending you pictures of viral foods to try for your trip to San Francisco. Regardless, a trip to America is always something to look forward to. The United States is one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. There are so many things to explore across the 50 states, like sun-kissed beaches, thrilling theme parks, legendary road trips, world-famous landmarks, awe-inspiring national parks and quirky tidbits in between.

Order dollars online before 3pm for next working day home delivery, or Click & Collect at your nearest John Lewis or Waitrose store.

Exchange rates may vary online and in-store. Min online order £250. Delivery/collection fee of £5.50 applies to orders below £500.

Sell your leftover USD

When you've made it back home safely, you can sell any US Dollar notes you have left. As long as we keep them in stock and can accept the denominations you have, we'll exchange them back into pounds (as long as we keep your currency in stock and we can accept your denominations). Just stop by a John Lewis Bureau de Change branch with your ID and US Dollars.

If your American holiday had to be cancelled, you can return your US Dollars for a full refund within 35 days of the purchase date. Bring your original order receipt or order confirmation, along with proof of cancellation and your ID with you. Returns can only be made in-store.
