See more of Mexico
Using cash instead of card is a great way to get straight to the heart of Mexico.
Whether you’re sipping an ice-cold margarita on a sprawling beach, touring the ancient ruins, or immersing yourself in the local art and music scene, local guides and vendors can usually only accept cash payments. Some may accept US dollars, but it’s handy to have some pesos on hand.
With its rich history, delicious street food, and stunning natural beauty, Mexico has something to offer for every type of traveler.
Order your Mexican pesos, or exchange in-store so you have cash before you set foot in an airport.
Exchange rates may vary online and in-store. Min online order £250. Delivery/collection fee of £5.50 applies to orders below £500.

Sell your leftover Mexican Pesos
After your trip, you can sell any peso notes you have left over (as long as we keep your currency in stock and we can accept your denominations), and we'll exchange them. Just stop by a John Lewis Bureau de Change point with your ID and pesos.
