Can I increase my credit limit for my Partnership Credit Card?
We regularly review credit limits to make sure that customers have the limit that is right for them. Any request for an increase will be assessed, using a combination of information from credit reference agencies and how you have managed your account.
You can sign in to your John Lewis Credit Card app or your Online Account Manager to request a credit limit increase or decrease.
Can I have multiple Partnership Credit Cardholders?
Once you've received and activated your card, visit your online account manager or use the John Lewis Credit Card app to manage your account and request an additional cardholder.
What’s the difference between buildings and contents insurance?
Home insurance refers to either contents insurance or buildings insurance or a combination of both.
Buildings insurance covers the building, including any outbuildings such as sheds. It generally covers your home against risks including flood, fire and subsidence.
Contents insurance covers the possessions in your home. It covers you against your belongings being stolen and some policies may cover you if something in your home is damaged by accident.
Buildings and contents insurance can be sold separately, but if you need to make a claim, having both from the same insurer helps make the process easier.
Is my pet eligible for John Lewis Pet Insurance?
If your cat or dog is at least 8 weeks old, they could be eligible for John Lewis Pet Insurance.
There’s no upper age limit, but there could be other circumstances where they couldn’t be covered.
Once you've taken out a policy, you’re not able to claim for vet fees as a result of an accident in the first 48 hours. You also can't claim for any changes in your pet's health or behaviour in the first 14 days of cover.
