Singapore dollars are not widely accepted in Malaysia.

While Singapore dollars were once used as an official tender as part of an interchangeable currency agreement, this ended in 1976. 

Some banks and hotels in Malaysia may accept Singapore dollars. However, it is best to pay with Malaysian ringgit, which is the local currency. 

Malaysian ringgits are available to order online and buy at select Bureau de Change.

Yes, Singapore dollars can be used in Brunei.

Singapore and Brunei share an interchangeable currency agreement. Singapore and Brunei dollars share the same value and can be used in both countries.

Can you use Singapore dollars in Bali, Indonesia?

Bali is a provenance in Indonesia, which makes their official currency the Indonesian rupiah. Singapore dollars are not often accepted in Bali.

You can buy Indonesian rupiah online or at select Bureau de Change if you plan on visiting both Singapore and Indonesia.
