Can I use my card abroad and will I be charged for this?

Yes, you can use your Partnership Card everywhere you see the Mastercard logo. Each time you use your card abroad, you'll be charged a foreign exchange fee as your transaction will be in a different currency. We add this fee to the amount of your purchase, so it won't be recorded on your statement as a separate charge. For further details, check your card's terms and conditions.

What do I need to do before using my card abroad?

You don’t need to tell us you’re travelling, as our systems constantly monitor and protect your account when you’re abroad.

If we identify any unusual account activity while you’re away, we may call or text you. Therefore, it's important we have your current mobile phone number before you travel.

To update these please use your John Lewis Credit Card app or Online Account Manager to do this.
